PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASE FOR ALL IMPORTANT INFORMATION

!!! No longer taking deposits for customised plates if they’re due for delivery in June 2026 or before !!!

The physical plates themselves aren’t made by me, I buy them as blank bisque and fully finish them with a custom illustration and final glaze firing. Due to the unpredictable nature of ceramics, small imperfections may be present in your final product- each piece is unique and may have variations due to being hand painted.

Plates are designed and painted by priority of date of when they need to be completed or gifted. Please do not purchase a plate deposit unless it’s due to be gifted within 2 months (UK) or 3 months (International).

I will open 12 deposit slots at a time, put these 12 in order of date needed and then work fully through this list in that month. You should have your plate in the post within 6 weeks or so of placing a deposit. Please always allow a long as deadline as possible when placing an order. After I’ve completed these 12 plates I will reopen the next 12 slots the following month for the next batch of orders.

Please select the free shipping option for this deposit.

This is a £100 deposit only - This deposit gets you a spot on my list that month and allows me to start talking to you about receiving a custom illustrative ceramic plate and digitally drawing up a design.

Prices have adjusted to accommodate all of the below

- a fully customised digital plan (with unlimited adjustments)

- a hand-painted unique physical plate

- materials / paint + glaze + packing

- kiln firing costs

- my hourly rate

Please be aware, the larger the size of plate the more detail I can fit! Particularly if the building you’d like included is very big.

The £100 deposit will contribute towards the final price of your plate.

Once you’ve signed off of your final digital design I will create a listing for you to purchase for £50, this is another installment towards your final plate total and allows me to physically sketch and paint your plate. Please don’t pay shipping on this payment.

When the plate is fully finished and back from the kiln I will upload another separate listing with the final installment of your plate total and send specifically it to you to purchase. Please remember to add the correct shipping to this final instalment so that I’m able to ship it to you. Please choose the option “ceramic illustrative plate” and your country of shipping. I cannot post to Northern Ireland or EU countries - sorry! I can post to Uk, USA, Canada and Australia.

Please make sure to let me know ahead of time where your plate will be going, this is so I can accommodate your timeline properly as well as add any tariff costs to the final price of your plate (USA). I will prepay any tariffs on your behalf ahead of the plate being shipped and going through customs.

I do now charge an additional £15 per small pet portrait to be included as part of your plate design if you want them, this is because they take me a lot longer than regular florals to sit and paint with a tinyyyy paintbrush to make sure I can replicate the pets likeness. This is added towards your final plate total.

Uk Shipping is usually £12. International is £45 + USA tariffs. Please allow plenty of time for your plate to be posted. UK delivery can take up to a week or more, international can take up to 3 - 4 weeks.

Your plate will be carefully packed and posted to you standard tracked. Shipping is additional to the final total of your plate and will be added when you purchase the plate once it’s fully finished.

From here, please Dm me on insta (@izzylawrenceart) and send me all the information for your custom plate :

I usually ask for :

- The Names of the couple

- Date of the wedding / birthday / engagement / event

- Photos or the name of the main illustration you want in the centre of the plate - this could be the wedding venue or somewhere really important to the couple

- let me know if you want anything written on the back

Multiple colours on the same plate or coloured florals will incurs additional charges, will vary depending on the complexity of what you want.

If you want anything else incorporated just let me know and we can chat about it! ☺️✨

Finally, I will take it off to the kiln as soon as I can to be glazed and fired. This firing process can take up to three to four weeks as I don’t own my own kiln but I will keep you fully updated through this time. I will always be able to tell you if your deadline isn’t possible to meet.

Please be aware that there is always a small chance that your plate may crack/break/chip/have an issue with the glaze while being fired - this is an unpredictable element of ceramics that i have no control of. If this sadly occurs I will let you know straight away and repaint and/or refire the plate asap, there will be no additional charge of a second plate if the first breaks in the kiln.

There is also a chance that your plate may come out of the kiln with a small fleck of colour within the clear glaze, this sometimes happens because I share a pot of glaze with other artists work. This is very rare and usually no issue as it’s incredibly minor, but if the colour is particularly obvious on a large section of clear space I will repaint your plate if you’re not happy with it. However, this is part of handpainted pottery and while I will do my best to limit this, it often is out of my control.

If your plate is damaged during shipping please let me know with clear proof immediately. I will open a compensation claim for the postage damage and get started on repainting your plate as soon as i am able. There will be no additional cost if your plate is damaged in transit. Please be aware that if your first place arrived broken during shipping I may not be able to produce and fire a second one in time for your deadline.
